The Tom Joyner Foundation is offering four full scholarships for fall or spring Semester at Sea voyages.

The Killam Fellowships Program
The Killam Fellowships Program provides an opportunity for exceptional undergraduate students from universities in Canada and the United States to spend either one semester or a full academic year as an exchange student in the other country.
Offering up to forty scholarships

MHIRT Program
The Tulane-Xavier Minority Health International Research Training (MHIRT) Program is sponsored by the National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities of the National Institutes of Health to provide short-term (10-12 weeks) research training opportunities for minority students interested in a career in international health research.
- applicants must currently be enrolled at Tulane University or Xavier University of Louisiana.
- undergraduate applicants must have completed their sophomore year prior to the time of travel.
- minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher in all classwork to date.

candidates must be members of an underrepresented ethnic population, such as African-American, Native American, Hispanic or Asian.
