The Killam Fellowships Program provides an opportunity for exceptional undergraduate students from universities in Canada and the United States to spend either one semester or a full academic year as an exchange student in the other country.

MHIRT Program
The Tulane-Xavier Minority Health International Research Training (MHIRT) Program is sponsored by the National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities of the National Institutes of Health to provide short-term (10-12 weeks) research training opportunities for minority students interested in a career in international health research.
  • applicants must currently be enrolled at Tulane University or Xavier University of Louisiana.
  • undergraduate applicants must have completed their sophomore year prior to the time of travel.
  • minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher in all classwork to date.
  • candidates must be members of an underrepresented ethnic population, such as African-American, Native American, Hispanic or Asian.
