The Director for the Center for Intercultural and International Programs (CIIP) assists the entire campus in its extensive program of internationalization at every level. After having directed the Elizabeth City State University Office for International Programs and the Office for Student Affairs at Capital University Law School, Mr. Lee began work at Xavier University of Louisiana in July 2011. Among his international roles and achievements; Mr. Lee serves on the 2011-12 National Board of the HBCU Interest Group of NAFSA: Association of International Educators, he is a NAFSA Academy Alumnus and Advocate, and he is a recipient of the Fulbright Education Administrator Scholarship to Germany. Mr. Lee has conducted wide international travel for both work and leisure and is dedicated to preparing Xavier Students for leadership and service in a global society.
Mrs. Karen Watson Lee is the Associate Director of the Center for Intercultural and International Programs at Xavier University of Louisiana. She has been employed at Xavier University of Louisiana for over 15 years. She previously served as Senior Evaluator in Xavier University’s Registrar’s Office. She ensures that the University is in compliance with the United States immigration policies and procedures involving F-1 and J-1 student and scholar visas and advises students on studying abroad. Mrs. Lee is currently involved in the NAFSA: Association for International Educators Trainer Corps and is a NAFSA Academy Alumnus.
